Rule of 3

The rule of 3 is one of the most popular ways to write comedy, where you simply form any sentence that you end with 3 points. The first 2 points (the setup) form a pattern that has a direct relation to the core meaning of the sentence. And the 3rd point (the punch) breaks this pattern with an information that is indirectly related to the core meaning of the same sentence.

Example:

Since I started working from home I'm noticing an increase in my concentration, my productivity and my body weight.
